Olga Luxury Apt Lower ( Adults only)

4 night trip to Paxos Positive: - Location next to port really convienent with luggage, short walk to apartment. Also, 20 minute walk each way in to town was nice too. Felt really safe, even walking back in the dark. - Pool area is such a chilled space. Really private and nice place to relax after a day exploring. - Owner was a really nice guy, super helpful and resolved a couple minor things during our stay. Told us about a really cool beach bar spot (Kamini) where we spent a whole day. - Communication with property management very good. - Bed really comfortable. - No car needed for a short stay. Can walk or get bus most places. Negative: Couple minor things: - Property description "executive villa" maybe need to update that to be "lower level apartment" as we thought we were arriving at a standalone villa, but in basement with an apartment above. Also upon arrival, no idea which villa to actually go to, a neighbouring property phoned the owner. Maybe put the name of villa/apartment on confirmation? - General attention to appliances. Toaster dated and broken, Cassette player dated, TV with only Arabic channels, Shower panels leak. - House Maid: We were not aware that someone would be coming in to apartment each day, only knew as bed was made? Maybe comms advising of this on check in ? Not sure really necessary for short stays?

Positive: After travelling for 6 months in apartments and hotel rooms, Blue Horizon was great for us with so much space and the pool area was amazing. Lots of books available which was great for relaxing. We were lucky that we had the place to ourselves so it was really peaceful. The washing machine was not hard to find it was under the pool and was great to have this available. Ferry port is around 6 min walk away and the first restaurant is just 1km away - so it was the perfect location. The cleaner was lovely and really friendly as was the owner - a brilliant week was had, thank you and we hope you get lots of bookings throughout the summer months Negative: Not sure they were quite ready for us on arrival - but once the cleaner had been in she sorted everything out for us

I think I’m going to retire here! 😎 Positive: Great location and large enough rooms with laundry facility also. Very clean and host was very hospitable and offered a lot of restaurant recommendations which we loved. All places he recommended were perfect.

Outside 10/10 inside 4/10 Positive: The outside patio areas and the beautiful, pristine pool are the plus points of this property, together with the sea view. Inside - the only positives are the size of the apartment, including a large bed, and the bedroom has air-conditioning. The daily housekeeper was pleasant and efficient. Negative: The inside of the property, although large, is very unwelcoming and not pleasant to spend time in. It is very dated and very sparsely furnished. The electrics are worrying - power sockets are wobbly! Several of the items listed as being available are not: eg microwave. Good luck with finding the washing machine, or operating the combination for the safe. The ‘welcome hamper’ consisted of one bottle of water; in the bathroom we found only shampoo and toilet rolls. You need to shop for all essentials before arriving at this property. We arrived in the evening after a long journey and had to set off for the supermarket in Gaios before we could even take a shower or make some coffee. There is a little information in the guest file but it doesn’t cover many points and you will need to hunt for it: try the bottom of the magazine rack. It’s worth contacting the agent/owner if you have a problem. They do respond quickly and try to help. Such a shame - this property could be superb!

Nice, quiet apartment in a great location on Paxos. Positive: Our unit at Blue Horizon was perfect for a relaxing and quiet holiday on Paxos after a week of sailing the Ioanian Sea. The location is excellent, being just a short walk into Gaios town.
